European Conferences on South Asian Studies

Future conference:

  • The 23rd ECSAS (European Conference on South Asian Studies) will take place at the University of Zürich (Switzerland) from 23 to 26 July 2014.


All those attending the conference must join the European Association for South Asian Studies, who sponsor the conference. It is now easy to become a member of EASAS: please fill in the form (click here) and send it to the address provided, and ensure that the membership fee is paid in promptly.

  • The 20th ECMSAS (European Conference on Modern South Asian Studies) took place in Manchester (UK) from 8 to 11 July 2008.
